Description
Patented & Unpatented mining claims in the historic Banner Silver Mining District. Silver was first discovered in the Banner Silver Mining District in 1864 and was mined intermittently until 1921. Over this period, an estimated 4 million ounces of silver were produced, worth around $76 million today. Since operations ended in 1921, no modern exploration has been undertaken until the summer of 2021 when a soil geochemical and mapping program was undertaken. This exploration identified numerous silver anomalies located outside of the previously documented silver veins, as well as the potential for near-term production from old mine waste dumps.
Directions: Appx 67 miles northeast of Boise. From Idaho City N. on Hwy 21, E on Little Beaver Creek Rd, N on NF-312, N on NF-385.
